All children should wear their PE kits to school on their allocated PE days. On days where there are sports clubs after school, children should wear full school uniform to school and change into their kits at the end of the day.
For events where the children represent the school in sporting activities a kit may be provided - please return this to school, washed, as soon as possible after the event.
No extreme hairstyles are permitted at school - a Grade 2 is the lowest acceptable, minimum gel. Long hair must be tied back and hairbands should be in school colours and worn flat to the head.
No jewellery should be worn in school, except for pierced ears where earrings should be a small plain gold or silver stud, however these must be removed for PE and swimming in the interest of safety. Unfortunately staff are not allowed to remove these for the children. We request that ear-piercing take place at the start of the summer holidays to prevent loss of PE lessons. The children must not wear nail varnish or make-up in school.
ALL CLOTHING MUST BE NAMED SO THAT LOST ITEMS CAN BE EASILY RETURNED. A LOST PROPERTY BOX IS SITUATED IN THE FRONT ENTRANCE - ANY ITEMS LEFT IN LOST PROPERTY AT THE END OF EACH TERM WILL BE PASSED ON TO OUR FRIENDS OF BYFLEET PTA TO SELL ON.
If you are in need of any specific pre-loved uniform (most of it is like new), please be in touch with our office team and we will arrange with our terrific PTA to help you out.
